Consecutive interpreting services

Consecutive interpreting is performed by interpreters which translate what is said by the speaker without the use of specific equipment (cabins, headsets, microphones) translating sections of variable length of speech. The interpreter and the speaker take turns: the interpreter listens to the speaker and takes notes and when the speaker stops, the interpreter respeaks what has been said in the target language.
Consecutive interpreting is a type of interpreting used when only one foreign language is required and normally for short gatherings such as press conferences or business roundtables.
